Is there a way to convert the factory AC compressor in its stock location to a compressor for the air ride? I dont need AC in my truck and its got factory AC?

yeah... just need an oil/water separator and an external oiler.... it should be a saden compressor.... mine is a 708 model... they can put out some hella air pressure.....

Lot of good info in this thread. Many pics also. Also have a bunch of pics from when I changed over th synthetic lithium grease instead of oil on the bearing side of the compressor - very quiet and still working great!

Do i have this right cut the rubber hoses coming off the compressor install barb fittings install a oiler and filter on the input and a oil/water trap on the output and run a line back to my tank?
Anything i am missing?
Were do i buy the nessary parts?

oiler goes on the intake side ..oil water seperater goes on the out put b4 the tanks and you can get the parts needed at napa...or i think DEV could hook you up i know he has a water seperater he has been trying to sell

you are better of not using a rubber hose up to the compressor. You can get a high heat rubberf hose, but copper is much better here.

The oiler has to stay full all the time as well. the compressor will not last long without oil.

also remember the vibration is a bitch, so make sure your setup can handle that as well.
