I did a search and found all kinds of info on adjusting the valves on the b2000's, but nothing for the b2200's. So i'm in need of some help.
I haven't moved my truck since saturday, went out tonight to take it for a drive, it started and ticked real bad from the rear of the valve cover area (by the firewall). Once the engine warmed up the tick went away. While it was ticking the engine seemed to idle slower then normal and run alittle rougher. I can only assume that the valves are needing adjusted, but from what I read on here the b2200 are hydrolic lifters and should be selfadjusting? Or do I need to pull the valve cover and readjust them? Maybe there is another problem? I'm pretty familiar with adjusting the valves on the '89 Toyota 22RE engines (dad has one), is my 2200 basically the same proceedure?
