the best way to remove all of it is to buy a weber carb. then you only need vacuum advance hose. and get a header, or plug the emulsion tubes on factory exhaust manifold.

webers can be found sometimes in the classifieds, or ebay you will also need adapter plate for carb to intake

does neone no wut there off of or have a part number for carb i work for an autp parts store so i might be able to get one also where to buy the adapter plate

you can cap almost everything on the factory carb but it will run awful. itll run rich and get bad gas mileage.

ford used a solex that was a clone the weber design I used one on a first gen crx that I rallied.

I will see if I can find that part number

adapters can be found on ebay, and years ago when I worked at schucks we could get weber adapters from some performance suppliers

there is this one on ebay adapter and all

ford used the clones on some pintos and fiesta not (festiva) if you can look up pics of these at your work just check 70's ford cars for one that looks like 32/36 dgv weber

okay dug some more for ya

look for the holley 5200 off of the ford pinto's it was a copied weber 32/36. It can accept the rectangle air filter setup of the weber being it is a licensed clone these can be found pretty cheap at a junk yard and will work good.

like I said earlier ford used it on smaller cars some have emission stuff some don't.

Dodge used them too but not sure what rigs.
