Anyone ever use Marvel Mystery Oil? I'm considering using it for a hundred miles plus/minus just before an oil change. Any good or bad experiences using it?

I used Lucas ( I think) and it made the truck smoke on startup and the valves really noisy, to the point that I started to look for a new motor. Had to do 2 oil changes to get it out and the engine is like new. Thats my experience.

I'd have to agree! Used it in my last to mazdas never a problem.

Hmmm, interesting. I replaced the head(B2600i) in 12/06 and it recently developed a clicking after sitting for a while. Once it warms up it goes away. The company I bought the head from suggested the Marvel oil. I'm reluctant to try any additive with the new head.

just curious any opinions on the Engine restore stuff? worth it?

its a bandaid to mask a problem IMO

that is true but its a good bandaid. My truck used to get 15 to 17 mpg cause the rings were shot. I add some Restore and it has now jumped up to 20 to 22mpg. I plan to do a full rebuild so it does not bother me and Seafoam did not even do that.
