okay went to do my tune up and when i took the breather off i found a surprise ........................a fuel pres. regulator okay now here is my prob the truck is bone stock and just been rebuilt last year it has new stock carb. and new stock fuel pump .............the way they had it set it run to lean and when it warmed up it would try to cut off on me ...............being thats its a carb. truck i figured it shouldnt need a regulator so i turned up for the time being now it runs perfect could run better BUT when it sits and idles for a few mins it loads up really bad ...................any one know what going on here

If you removed the regulator that could cause it to load at idle. Sounds like you need somebody to go through your carb and see if the jets are all sized right. I would suggest not running a regulator and finding out how much psi your pump is pushing and then having some one tune the carb to that spec.
