i had a gas leak a few weeks ago, tank had a hole in it (rust) no biggie. dropped the tank, replaced. later i realized i had a bigger leak, i thought maybe i broke a dryrotted hose, wrong. one of the nipples on the fuel tank sending units had broken. so i went to autozone/advance auto to get a new one. they gave me this:

the thing is... where is the new bracket to relocate the fuel pump... where is the wire and harness to connect the fuel pump.... wtf is going on...

o yea, they gave me part number: FG82A

1988 b2200, auto, reg cab, se5, carb.

well.. i found out that the one they gave me was in fact for a manual... due to the fact... neither Autozone or Advanceauto carry them nor can get them... i sat in autozone for 40 minutes searching their system for anything... well i got home and searched the net.... found it... part number "E3000-138263".... $300.... FUCK THAT.... i cant afford $300 for a truck i paid $400 for....

does anyone have one laying around?

like i said before its for a 1988 b2200, AT, reg cab, carb.

have you checked junkyards??? I work for autozone and i checked, you're right, we can't get it.... alot of people that work for AZ are dumb asses so i was jus confirming. We can get the PUMP but not the assembly. Sorry man! That sucks!
