hey guys, im trying to figure out this ticking... only while driving, not while parked, it comes on near abouts 3000 rpms and up... i dont rev the shit out of the thing to see how far it goes. lifters? is there valve lash adjustment room here? i havent looked deep into it yet.

truck is a 92 b2200 fuel injected, 5 spd. like 240kkm on the clock, supposed rebuilt head. fresh oil change and a bottle of Lucas.

no adjustments as they are hyd lifters....sounds like they are either sticking, or warn, best to just replace them, you can try some seafoam, but if they are excessively warn, it will prolly just make it worse...then again, the lucas may be so thick that with the higher rpms, it won't let the oil flow thru the lifters properly...

yeah i t did this before lucas... i added lucas to try to shut it up! lol i think it quieted down some with the lucas, and it prominent in less of an rpm range also now. but it's still there.
