Sorry, just gotta vent. I'm trying to get my truck back on the road and i figured that I'd change the timing belt and water pump. So now this is the second time of putting everything back together and pulling it apart again because of a bunk waterpump. Brand new, fresh out of the box and still pieces of crap, so back to the parts store tomorrow to find out if third times a charm.

I do quality control and I don't give a f*ck.

So it's people like me that are the cause of your headaches.

thats usually what happens when you buy no name parts, i ran into an issue like that before
i bought balljoints for the truck, 3 days later i heard clunking everytime i hit a bump so i brought it to the mechanic, he showed me the ball joints were shot again, so i called up napa auto parts and ordered the best shit they had, MOOG balljoints went into the truck and i paid a pretty penny for them but there holding up, so the since then the good truck gets the best parts and as for the daily i still throw cheap stuff on it mainly, depends what it is

The first waterpump, had the wrong pulley on it altogether, it was 3/16 larger in diameter and the second one had the bolt holes for the tensioner and idler pulleys crooked so the belt wasn't tracking correctly and was starting to slip off after only 2 full revolutions of the crank pulley. I know the parts are Fenco but it's not the white box specials.

Oh, and mikey when aren't you giving someone headaches?

I've had some probs w/ some stuff before too....
Starter for my s10, had a LOT more teeth on it than the one I pulled off.
Spark plugs for the s10, that was just stupidity of the counter person giving me the wrong part.
Had to drive 30min. to pick up my clutch that was suppose to be delivered and they dropped it at the wrong store, so I paid for it, they had it transfered to the other store, I said I'd go pick it up myself, because I needed it that day, when I get to the other store, manager was gone, and the employee couldn't understand why they had it on the shelf and it wasn't in the system, since it had been transfered to the other store, that was fun trying to explain that one.
Actually I just seem to have troubles w/ the s10 and autozone. oh well

Third strike and they are out!! Got another one with F'd up threads, even the machine shop couldn't figure out what they did. So now I went to another supplier, find out in the morning if it's any good. It's sucks, I really don't have the time for this BS.
