So I have no power steering. I want to put it in. What do I need? Just the steering box, pump, and belt? Or is there more? Anyone done the swap? Any pointers?
Thanks guys.

You will need the pump, hoses, belt, bracket and if u have manuel steering box, u will need a power steering one.

I've done manual to power swaps on three mazda's. You just need the parts ^^ stated. Also there is a U shaped hard line that bolts to the frame under the core support its a oil cooler, dont forget that.

Don't bother with powersteering, my truck doesn't have it and like how it handles. You only really need it for when your going slow in parking lots, plus it sucks power from the engine (and these engines need all the power they can get). The manual steering also gives the truck a more sporting feel, with more coneccted driving reflexes.

Don't worry about the sugestion. I want power steering because I have 20's, and I will be doing mostly slow parking lot driving. lol. Thanks for all the advise. I will be doing some junk yard hunting again.

Those are the types of things I needed to know. I would have never brought a 22mm to the junk yard. Thanks!!!!
