ok i got my header in and installed and i thought it fir great until i went to bolt the ac compressor back ok and it hit the number one primary tube on the header has anybody had this problem if so is there any different brackets i can us or what to move the compressor thanks for any imput

you could use some washers to push the ac brackets out a little. just make sure to use a tight (on the bolt) washer and the same number of them for each bracket.

Mine is kinda tight too, you may need to set the adjustment bolts to where it is down as far as it can go, or like Andrew suggested, use a couple washer to space the bracket off the block....you can get it to where it won't touch, but it will be close..

thanks guys i ended up cutting some 1/2 inch spacers and it works still close but it works

i had to pull a small bracket off the bell housing... 2 bolts... header came off a reg cab 2.2 FI 5 speed and went on a ex. cab 2.2 FI 5 speed... im not sure what the bracket was for, but i pulled it and put the bolts back in. header fits snug.
