where do i put the o2 sensor also? becuase on stock headers its on one of the tubes i think

alot of us have the pacesetter. you put the o2 in the collector. gotta extend the wire cuz its lower than stock. easy install too. git the weber carb and you aint gotta worry bout the o2

I might look into one of these.... Not really worried about performance, hows the sounds difference? mpg?

Thats what I'm using on my truck. The combo of going to headers and getting rid of the plugged up exhaust manifold cat made a big difference in acceleration, fuel economy and sound. I had to change my muffler setup as a matter of fact cause my first cat was doing most of the muffling.

As far as gas mileage, I was getting 37 hwy mpg when I was jetted lean, advanced the timing, and running water/alcohol induction with holley 5200 so I'm not the best person to comment on the gas mileage effects of just the header itself.

Also when I removed the stock exhaust manifold, and the cat attached to it, down pipe to the lower cat, and the smog attachment from the stock air cleaner, I put it all in a box and weighed it. Ended up being 94lbs removed.

on my 88 all i had to do is plug the o2 sens in and then it worked good so idk.
but all i had was the header down pipe to a glasspack. and iit was kinda loud
