I just put on a weber carb 32/36 and took out all the emissions bullshit that i thought could go and now it wont even turn over, all i hear is a clicking noise from a solenoid. Ive done a lot a reading and searching on here for similiar problems but i cant find any. What all needs to be hooked up? Did i take too much stuff out? Here is a pic of what im left with.

clicking noise from the solenoid? The starter solenoid? When I did mine, I had to prime it with gas because of the mechanical fuel pump. But it was turning over, just not fireing. Are you saying yours it not even tuning over? If so, double check the wiring for the starter. You can totally remove the harness from the pass. side. Make sure everything else coming from the drivers side is hooked up.

Thanks for your reply..i figured out the starting issue but now i need to know what wire or wired coming out of the fire wall need to be hooked up to power my fuel pump? Right now i am hotwiring it straight to the battery with jumper cables lol. Any help would be great.

it could be a bad fuel pump relay. i dont have a manual to see the wiring diagram but i think the relay is behind the driver side kick panel. i could be mistaken on the location. the relay should turn on for a couple seconds after you turn the key is on the "on" position. it should also turn on when you try to start the engine.
