I searched but didn't find the info I was after, so my last resort is to start a new topic.

I need help selection a weber carb. I have had my stock carb rebuilt twice in the past four months, still not running right and I'm tired of dealing with this POS.

I see on Webers site there is a couple different models, and I'm not sure which to get. I need one that will work good for running around town, and one that will also work good for towing jetskis up and down hills.

My thoughts; 32/36 for the fual economy, but then again I don't go out of town too often, and I'm not too concerned milage.
34/34 for it's "all around improved drivablity and low rpm response" I think this is the one I need mainly because I have an automatic tranny and it doesn't let the engine rev too high.

What's your guys thoughts, I don't want to buy the wrong thing.

One other question, Do these carbs come with the everything to hook up my auto tranny? New brackets, ect. Can't really tell from the pictures.

I would personally just go with the 32/36 electric choke. On the 34/34 the throttle cam is on the opposite side so I believe you also have to get a new cable.

If the 32/36 is adjusted properly it will have plenty of power in the bottom end.

After talking it over with a couple friends, I have decided on the 34/34. Should have it next time next week.

Please explain more about this needing a longer cable thing. You sure the stock cable isn't long enough? Where can I get a longer cable? Parts store? Part #, or another vehicle's cable that fits?

Yeah you have to use a longer cable. I believe on off a mid 90's toyota works. Their is someone on here that said that but I can't remember his name to save my life. Maybe someone will chime in.

Changing throttle cables is not a problem. Searching around it sounds like a '89 Toyota 22RE cable fits. This is perfect cause my dad has a junker toyota that gave up it's engine to my dads truck, and the cable is still there. Free parts FTW
