my uncle has a motor that i might use for a motor swap. it's a 1946 flat head inline 6cyl. with the tranny but it's not seised up but it needs rebuilding....

what do you think?

i'll meed to make a drive shaft and of course make motor mounts and tranny mounts, but with a stock floor b/d it'll be killer i.m.o.

let me know what you think?

will it fit. an inline 6 is kinda long

an inline six is WAY long. i have a custom rad in the stock location with a v8, only 3/4" between the water pump and rad. that six will most likely need the rad in front of the rad support, and the firewall pushed back. if you got mad skills, go for it, would be way cool.

what does a flathead six make for power? 60 horse, at best?

I wanna do a flathead.....v8. that would be cool
