Wont Idle When Cold

Hey guys, im new to the site and I just picked my first mazda, its a 1991 b2200 that wont idle when the truck is cold... after you start it and keep the truck running by pressing the gas... then it will adle after after warming up the truck idles perfect and runs good..any idea''s on what the problem could be?

Does it have a carb? Sounds like the chokes not working. See if it is closing off when the engine is cold.

Yes, it has a carb. I will look into the choke issue, this is my first mazda i have owned all s10's but im loving the mazda scene so far.
