Well hell....I have been having the up and downs with this damn cooling system...

the history
I bought it and checked it the mext morning and found nothing but rust...and some form of what I think used to be water.....so I started the all famous flush....pumped the radiator 15 times....I even built up some pressure (the all famous hand over the lower intake hole....and this flushed out evem more crap....I checked the system and it SEEMED to be flowing clean.....so we move on

a few weeks later....radiator blows on the freeway...that really sucked...no where to pull off so forced to drive 2.5 miles....I make it to a store, order a new rad, get install, install a new thermostat and fill...everything seems ok...runs great for days! No water in oil or otherwise.....moving on

I check it periodically...everything seems ok (at this point I am running pure water...distilled of course)

I go over to Pearls and we had it running and I forget to turn on my fans (manually controlled by a switch in the cab....shit the cap from the overflow blows off and hits me in the eyeball...that kinda sucks!!!) I refill with proper coolant and fill all levels....I drive it for a few days...check again, still full...both rad and overflow (and coolant is still more or less green....some residue from whatever was in there from when I bought it (keep in mind....I have owned and driven everyday for about 3 months now...basically since I joined this site)

Today....driving doing my job....it seems just like always....I leave my fans on thru the day...it always in the normal but closer to C than in the middle)....I drove over to see the kids choir play/concert...start up and its looking normal...kick the fans on...and drive on....stop for gas (and I CRAM 11.8 gallons in this thing...all the way up the fill tube...now I know this has NOTHING to do with this issue....but this is the turning point) Some guy has broken down and I being me...offer to help...start following him home, and notice that my gauge is closer to the middle than normal...and its not going down like normal..WTF?????....and I am out in the farmlands so it NOTICEABLY cooler out that way...like 10-15degrees cooler...like you can feel cooler....) I stop at a light and the gauge climbs a lil...not alot and not in the dangerous Im gonna blow anything area...but yea it went up some....I continue on my way (fans are still on and I thought maybe one of them mighta died off...has happened before since the new rad is smaller in some weird way...the fans dont mount like they used too...so I gotta figure that out still but they have always worked) and I see that the gauge has stayed in the middle area...even when driving....which is weird cuz it usually drops down...but it aint...I think to myself "shit I cant afford another radiator or having anything break right now...I am actually working so I NEED it to stay together" I get home and pop the hood...both fans are on and drawing air...ok...I pull the rad pressure relief and I hear pressure relief and not a sort of bubbling sound...think thats good...I open the overflow and.................EMPTY!!! Whoa whoa whoa!!! Whats this? No I figure its prolly low or something...but its too damn hot to screw with right now (its 9 pm and I just got home from a really long day and I am tired).....this godforsaken cooling system....I am fearing that I need a headgasket, which means a new WP and TB (might as well right? I have at this date I have new rad, all new hoses, thermostat and gaskets....last time I checked the pump was flowing quite well...but if I gotta rip off for the HG...might as well do the pump and I know...TB too.

worst part is...there are NO 2600i's that I can get a head from if mine is toast....I think I am up shit creek, no paddle and my boat has a really big hole in it.........

What you all think, thoughts, comments....hell even an IDEA....I need this damn thing to work!!! LOL!!!

Yea,,,,I will be saving up for a new head, gasket, WP and TB and everything else

on the plus side....I might have ac again...noth that it will be doing me any good (god I wish I had a 2000/2200 right about now...had a chance to get one but noooooooooooo...I HAD to have the 2600i, fucking thing....LOL...I love and hate it at the same time)
