Just letting everyone that is running the chevy alternator that you may want to consider mounting it a different way then what most are running it. Most people are running it upside down putting the guiding ear on the bottom and the main mount at the top making it the guiding mount now. well i have come to find out that this is a pretty poor way to mount this thing. needless to say all of the alts weight on the one little guiding ear has broken it. If you have yours mounted this way please try and give this thing some more bracing. not only is it the weight that made it broke but mainly the twist this setup allows. you should run some kind of bracing to the back of the alt not allowing it to twist. just trying to save everyone some money and aggervation.
