how do you remove the ignition switch because all i see are these 2 rivets at the top but no screws, bolts or anything. It is locked in the acc. position and will not turn at all so i disconected the battery till i can get it off. When i bought the truck i used to be able to take the key out at any position so im guessing the lock on it was messed and now its just jammed there which another guess is that the lock is locking it up. any help will be appriciated

take a grinder with a cut off wheel and make a grove in the rivets.... make it like a flat head screw... then take a screw driver and turn it like any other screw or bolt..... or you can use a pair of vice grips but its easier to just cut a grove in it with a grinder and cut off wheel

they came out really easy with some decent vice grips. now just have to wait till tomorrow to pick up the new ignition.
