This morning my son's 93 2600i was ticking a little, sounded like a lifter(I know it doesn't have lifters, just to give you an idea of the sound). It started getting worse and then all of a sudden it just stopped. Any ideas?
I can tell you that when I had my 93 B2600i it did the same thing when it was new. The dealership told me it was a Mazda tick. I laughed but he showed me another one on the lot that did it until it was warmed up. Mine after it warmed up stopped also. I figured out that if I ran 93 octane in it all the time it stopped doing it. Don't know if your's is the same but that was my fix.
