anti lock light

anyone know why my anti lock light and e brake light stays on.... last week had to slam on my brakes avoiding an accident ever since then the anti lock light wont turn off..

check your brakes. you may need some brake work or fluid or something. just look at them or get them checked out and see if anything is screwy.

mine all of the sudden one day came on... now it comes on after a few mins of driving.... hasn't used or leaked any break fluid...... breaks feel the same and seem to stop the same.... dunno why the light came on out of nowhere... im thinking it may be a sensor thats dirty or just quit working after 20 years...

since both those lites are activated by sensors on the rear brakes,I would do as someone above posted and pull the rear wheels and check ur rear brakes.U may need brake work and the panic stop just may be a coincidence or may have activiated the sensors.bj

unplug the abs computer from under the drive seat... no more light

its the sensor on the diff, just unplug the computer
