I am getting my engine ready to go in... just had engine rebuilt, bored thirty over, 263 cam, 32/36 weber carb, lightened fly wheel, pace setter header and powder coated the pullies valve cover alternator mounts etc crushed silver and had the intake and header powder coated in a high heat silver. The collector and header came seperate I want to weld them togethor so the rest of my exhaust can unbolt from the collector. I was told that it won't work because i want to body drop two and a half inches. Suposedly there is problems. Once the engine is in I will know for sure. I can't be the only one with this question? Whatever information you guys have for me will definately help.

I don't see exhaust being any issue with a traditional bodydrop, Floorpan and motor are staying in the same place. Stock floor yeah exhaust would have to run different because the floor pan is so close to the ground and crossmembers are close too.

Yep. . What he said. . . Traditional BD you will not have an issue with the exhaust. . Whoever told you that it wouldnt work doesnt know what they're talkin about. . or dont understand what you are doin. .
