Well. it started fine all day.. until now. the wife hasn't rode in it since it has been lowered.. and wanted to ride into it. started up fine heading to mcdonalds. only maybe 1/2 mile. stop a light it starts chugging... it was alittle low on gas. i stop and dropped 7$ into it since i don't drive it much. got to mcdonalds had to pump the accelerator and hold it fully to the floor to even start.. its misses and now when it stay idle well trying it sorta smokes. and smells like fuel. i have upload a picture there is fuel sitting in the cracks. and two video's it would be great to figure this out. oh fyi. i gotz sexy feet

Do you have the cats in it still? I have had a few do this they stumble and lack power, i just stand on it to clear it out. The one truck plugged up the cats all the way and i had to drive home with the tubes that goto the air cleaner unhooked to let the exhaust out. It would act like it was flooding out. Just somthing to check!

I have the cat still but it has been bypassed. has a pipe going threw the middle of it to make it look like a true cat.

Did you pipe both cats? cause that sounds exactly like my truck when the first cat plugged.( the one connected directly to the exhaust manifold, not the one under the truck)

i have only one cat. and its freely flowing it reek of fuel

Do you have a header? There are 2 cats on mazdas, the one in line under the cab and the other is right under the exhaust manifold. I had the problem with the one under the manifold.

nope stock manifold. it comes down unbolts where it unbolts it straight piped then runs into a Fake cat. to a muffler. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

Then the other cat is still in there. Its about 4&quot; or bigger around and right under the manifold. Just somthing to check if it gets clogged it will run like crap if it even runs.

stock carb= accelerator pump most likely. I'd runs some sea foam through the carb and get some new plugs and wires if you haven't already. and inspect the cap and rotor. pull some vacum lines and see if they are full of fuel good indicator its the carb.

That's EXACTLY how mine runs and idles all the time. Low, lumpy idle with the motor vibrating like mad. Does the whole truck shake at idle? I get a gassy smell with mine, but no smoke. I only have the cat on the exhaust manifold and stock carb.

Do you find it hesitates from a stop or sometimes while just cruising down the road?
