since i have to put a new crank in my mazda i was thinking why not put a stroker crank in. what could i get the crank from? a b2200? also would i need to change the rods?

The B2200 crank will fit but you will need to get custom rods to make it work. I don't know if there is any casting that needs clearance for the stroker to fit the block because that maters what rod and pistons you use. but the mains are the same.

the 2200 is already a "stroker" engine . The extra 200 ccs displacement came from slightly longer stroke. So why not just put a 2200 in there and be done with it.bj
