Alright. I have a 2.0 VW motor. Yes i know it doesn't bolt up, and it has it be wired yada yada. This is the First time i have ever swap motors to a different transmission.. So i am asking should i get a custom Bell housing to fit the 2.0 VW motor or just an adapter plate and who does it?.. i can make the motor mounts and do the whole other crap. I am just wondering. About that part. and about the clutch system.. if i know some people have done crazy swap. im just looking for a few answers to be solved... If im unclear please ask me to be more detailed.

i think mating the vw engine to the b tranny is gonna be a big issue. unless you can do a rwd engine that you can swap the tranny too, i wouldnt try it.

I understand but there are quite a few SR22 transmision that have VW motors on them..

You would have to make you an adapter plate to bolt the vw engine to the mazda trans and find some way to make the b2200 clutch mate up to the vw flywheel. A machine shop could probably take care of all that but it wouldnt be cheap. Not really worth it in my opinon.
