possible? to run stock carb with out computer?

I have belive i have seen one or two photos of truck on here running stock carbs with or with out computer and vac lines

you can run a stock carb without pc but it runs like azz very rich
and you will wash the cylinders

Well.... i have the vac lines capped and the computer plugged in still. i need to get the truck to just to start and run. for atleast 10-15 mins. so i can do a heat cycle and re tighten the head bolts

You have to have it floored to start it and the half way open it still misses and hisses.

sounds like part of the prob is a major vacuume leak

Yup def sounds like a vacuum leak

So it should run either way..... so i need to find a Vacuum leak
