Fuel Delivery Problem?

Got a Weber 32/36 installed. Got it running. But when the truck is stopped it won't idle. It dies out. Like it ain't getting any fuel. At open throttle no problems. I put a guage inline and there in only 1 psi of pressure at the carb. I was just wondering if any of you guys could recommend a good replacement electric fuel pump. As i need about 3.5 psi at the carb for it to run properly any help would be appreciated. L8R.

The stock fuel pump generates enough pressure for a carburetor, no matter which one in installed.

Maybe you hooked up the return line to the carb, instead of the pressure line, if you hava a mechanical pump on the head.

It doesn't make sense that you are not getting enough at idle to keep a vehicle running, yet at cruising speeds you are.
