I think what you are asking is dimensionally, will it bolt in. . .and i think it would, with the following limitations.
The extended cab trucks have to use a tank that is not as tall, maybe.
Maybe it is just the shape of the tank or the hole for the pickup / sensor is different.
So you are going to be carrying less fuel . . maybe.

There isn't a listing showing for an extended cab as far as capacity. . .
The thing that is interesting to me is that if the vehicles are fuel injected, they all use the same part number.

From the picture, it looks like you are going to have to use the fuel pump for the extended cab, if you use an extended cab tank.
