ive been trying to find some info on getting rid of my fuel injection and going to a weber carb. its just that i have to find an ecu for it and for the prices i have found already i can buy a 34 weber out the door. pro's, cons anyone?

with a weber you wont need an ECU

from what i know, the (G54B) carb b2600 motor is completely different from the (G6) f.i. motor.
not like the b2200, where all you need to do is swap the intake manifold, to go from f.i. to carb

on a lighter note, there a guy on ebay that repairs computers, i heard hes good, im going to look for a spare ECU for my b2600, i already have a spare for my b2200

IMO fuel injection is better than a carb. carbs in a way are easier for people to adjust and you dont need an ecu but fuel injection is more fuel efficient and i think fuel injected cars just naturally run a little better. i'm not saying that carbed engines dont run great. with the right tweaking and adjusting a carbed engine can run beautifully but it takes more adjusting than a fuel injected engine. thats just what i think.

well i can't get anything past you! jk

i would like to stay fuel injected it was just that since i have been on this site reading. it seems that alot of people have problems with there ecu's and that webers are like gods on here. i just don't want to keep replacing ecu's. i saw that add on ebay and was curious about it. just thought it was a scam.
