You may not have carburetor issues in any way.
What have you done other than what you have posted?
Have you done a tune up?
"tune up" is a pretty ambiguous term.
Not trying to be rude, but the words mean different things to different people.
There is even a product you can buy to put into the gas tank that is called "tune up in a can."
What did the parts look like when you pulled them?
When / if you pulled the plugs did you look to see if the electrodes were in good shape or marginal?
Reading a plug is an art that will tell you a LOT of what is going on regarding fuel issues.
Individual plugs from each cylinder tell a detective story that you need as the one hunting for clues.
When I take out plugs, I keep them in cylinder order so I can look at them cylinder specific.
If you scramble them taking them out, you have just lost important facts.
Have you checked the spark plug wires for corrosion at the ends where they plug in and for correct resistance or bleedover?
Have you replaced the fuel filter, or inspected it for debris?
Did you replace the distributor cap and rotor?
Did you check the advance operation with a timing light?
