Can someone tell me what is out there for a stronger clutch? So far all I've found that makes one for the B2200 is ceterforce. Anyone else make one that is a bit grabbier than stock?

I don't think they make any performance clutch options for the b2200. The center force will definitely feel a lot grabbier than whatever was in there before. My friend had an oem replacement center force in his Honda and its noticeable.

I know theres is a thread or two on here dealing with clutch upgrades but do not remember where. You may need to look for clutches for an early RX7 or maybe the 626's. I seem to remember that the early RX7 trannys are the same cases as our trucks with different gearing. Given that, the clutch assembly may be the same.

I'm pretty sure centerforce has a six-puck clutch for our trucks

Yes. Centerforce makes their dual friction performance line for our trucks, not just OEM replacement. And that's plenty grabby enough for me. Just wondering if there were other options.

The MX6, Probe, 626 won't work on my truck. Sightly larger diameter flywheel. This is actually so I can bolt an F2T from those cars into my truck, and why the stock clutch won't work. So actually need one for the B2200.

I have a ACT 6 puck non sprung for my f2t conversion. the clutch will take 365 ft lbs of torque, before slip.

ACT has our trucks in there, you can get almost anything.

Ok... so now I've got more homework to do I guess.

ACT does list a clutch for this truck. When I click on it to purchase it, it says it's a Mazda 626 V6 clutch. Back at the centerforce site, the B2200 clutch and the 626 V6 clutch have the same diameter and spline measurements, but different part numbers.

So now I'm wondering if I can get away with using a v6 clutch or not?

In situations like this I have called around to local auto parts stores and asked if they have poth parts on hand then went over and compared the two parts. Didn't always buy there parts but it usually helped answer the question. For your situation I'm guessing the two disks will be identical except for maybe the hub springs may be different for the 2 different applications. My guess would be the V6 hub will have stronger springs than the 4 cylinder hub (more torque potential).

Good luck on your homework and as always let us know how things work out. And as always a thankyou to Mazdalawandslow for helping out.

Ok. I got my answers over on the Probe/626/mx-6 forums.

As I said, the F2T clutch won't fit in my bellhousing.

I was told that the Mazda 1.8l n/a motors (protege lx, or escort gt's), any 2.5l probe, mx6, 626. And also the gtx awd 323. will work for My B2200 tranny. So, an upgraded clutch for any of those (much more common that upgraded clutches for B2200s) will be the ticket.
