86 carb on pre?

Quick question. Will the old carb of my 86 work on a 84?

Get a Holley 5200. . . no emissions or rejetting like you would have to do, IF the carb even would fit.

I highly doubt it, almost nothing is interchangeable between the 2. Including wheels, I put my 20s on a 86+ mazda b2000 and there was a noticeable difference in tucking. While my 20s clear my bedsides and fenders, the 86+ was right on the lip.
