I am new to mazda trucks and motors. However I am not new to the scene. I have picked up a 86' B2000 with a bad motor. Will a 1993 B2600i motor work with no problems? Meaning, will it bolt up, gauges work, everything work correctly. I do not want to have to change anything. Please Helppp! Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the site. You need to find either a 2.0 or a 2.2 liter engine. The b2600i uses a 2.6 liter Mitsubishi engine that uses different motor mounts, transmission, and is fuel injected so you would need swap over all the associated wiring too.

yeah besides its way easier to run a carb on those motors rather than worry about trying to make a b2600 motor work. main reason is because there tends to be a lot of issues with them. find a 2000 or a 2200 motor and stick a weber on it and call it a day! if you wanted to get crazy though there are all kinds of swaps you could do. it's up to you though and good luck! post some pics when you get a chance, we're all pic whores lol!
