Cam Jurnal question for the experianced

Hey Folks a buddy of mine called and asked a question about Cam Jurnals in a 1999 Mazda Protishay

1.6 leter he said one of the Cam jurnals has wore ..... is there a fix for this or is it new head time??

take it to a good machine shop and have them trued. and there is a bearing that he can have put in there. a little leg work but beats the hell out of getting a new head. and look at the bright side, if it wears again he only has to change the bearings
