Yo guys i know quite a few of you are running a weber carb and I was hoping one of you might know what im talking about.. I picked up my mazda b2200 from the local advanced engines shop today and on my way home i noticed that once the second barrel on my 32/36 carburetor would open the engine would run rough. The engine was just rebuilt.. I had it bored 30 over, installed a larger cam, had the fly wheel lightened, added a pacesetter header and a 32/36 weber. The guys at the engine shop timed the engine and adjusted the carburetor. At idle the engine runs perfect but once the second barrel starts to open the engine starts to sputter. I talked to the guys at the engine shop and they seem to believe that the engine is getting too much fuel and that i should install a fuel regulator and have the carb rejetted. So when i got home I hooked up a fuel regulator and set it at 3.5 psi and it made no difference. There is nothing wrong with the engine itself, so obviosly it must have something to do with the carb. Has any of you guys ever experienced something like this with weber carbs? If you have any suggestions or ideas please let me know. I really want to get this figured out so I can actually see what the engine is capable of. Thank you
