I have an ext cab B, that the crankshaft is broken on. So I've been looking for a whole other engine or, possibly rebuilding it. And I've came across a really good deal on a b2600.

Will the carb'ed b2600 be a direct swap over? will it work with the transmission off the b2K?

And I know everybody says these b26's are junk....exactly what is so bad about them?

No its not a direct swap. The engine mounts are different and so are the transmissions. Assuming your talking about the b2600i engines, the coolant passages in the head are too small which can let the engine overheat.

Sorry I forgot to put that in the first post, but its a carbed b2600. Would the mount and trans still be different?

Yeah its still different. That's a Mitsubishi motor, same as in the Mighty Max and D50 trucks.
