?? on my webber carb 34 DGEC

thought i had a carb problem so i bought a new webber conversion kit turns out it was a timing issue now its timed right runs fine but the carb like i cant get it adjusted right or something like i have to put it to the floor to make it really go if i barely push the accelerator it jerks like when u pop the clutch or something and also have to tap the accelerator after i let it go cuz it stays revving a little high like its sticking or something i donno its giving me a headache are these common problems with this style webber or what and im getting terrible gas mileage if anyone can point some things out or shoot me some tips would be greatly appreciated WOULD I BE MAKING A MISTAKE PUTTING MY STOCK CARB BACK ON??? i do like the webber with no damn vacuum lines and all the electrical crap PLEASE HELP THANKS

do you have the vacume line from weber to distibutor?

yeah and all my others are capped off

i dont understand in the instructions it says to adjust the idle mix that turn it in counting number of turns until idle speed drops off and then turn it out counting number of turns until idle drops off again and screw it back in half the distance that u turned out now the mixture is set

I bought my local Tech lunch in trade to tune mine in. He went out there and did it 5 min. Thing runs awsome! He just twisted the air/fuel screws and adj the choke.

u got the same one as me? the 34 34?? another problem im having is that the throttle gets stuck i thought like its not completely returning to the idle position like it needs a stronger spring or something i donno about about to throw that carb in the trash and put my stock one on truck ran fine until i put that crap on

also do i have to put a fuel regulator on this for this carb to work right i just got the stock fuel pump on the head hooked up to it right now IF ANYONE IS IN THE CENTRAL FLORIDA AREA THAT CAN TUNE THIS THING RIGHT PLEASE LET ME KNOW THANKS
