Hey guys, really got one for you now. I was trying to fix the monifold gasket and I had it on the motor while I was cleaning what seemed like parts of two gaskets that were still on the manifold. Anyway, while I was doing that the manifold cracked one of the corners off where the bolt goes idiot I know. It was one chunk and the bolt hole did not crack, the corner did. I need advise on what I should do. Can't seem to find any manifolds online. Should I do the junk yard thing, or try to JB weld it till I can find a manifold? HELP!!

You could probably get away with using it even with the corner broken off. You could also find someone who can weld aluminum to weld it back together.

take it to a welding shop have them weld it back up prolly 50 bucks ...or goto a wrecker and get another one

I'm assuming you need one for an 84?

No actually I was born in 84. My truck is a 93 B2200. I do get how you would think that tho. Thanks for the advise, any more to add is still welcomed.

Best bet is a wrecker. You'll spend less doing that then paying someone to weld it. Around here, an entire FI intake manifold is like $35 at a wrecker. If you only need the upper plenum, it's like $20.

I would clean it up real good and jb weld it. I fixed a cracked block with that stuff and drove to flordia a month later.

wow jb weld on a cracked block.... classic..... i have a few b2200 manifolds laying around. if not luck hit me up and we can work a deal. also where are you located?

So, yeah. I live in vegas. If we could come up with a deal that would be great. Maybe I can just take an extra one off your hands. I wil most likely see what it will cost for a shop down the street to do it and if to much JB weld here I come. We will see, whatever works.
