2.2 idle issues....

mazdatweaker FTW! My truck was doing this exact thing over the weekend. I searched on here and found this thread. Lean colored plugs, Fuel "blobbing" into primary, would run better when I covered 2/3 of the primary hole with my finger(lean issue). I took the top off and pulled the jet out and ran one strand of copper wire through it and put it back together. FIXED. I want to put a weber on my daily but just dont have the funds right now. Thanks again.

Also when a truck won't idle check the slow fuel stop solenoid, if this is broken, so is the idle.
backfiring/dieseling is also a symptom if it's stuck open. (instead of closed and it dying like the above)
