The truck I bought is in pretty bad shape, and well I think I will have to put a motor in it. I am looking for advise on a cheaper and decent swap to put in my 93 B2200. My main thought is putting a F2 or F2t into it. Yet, how much trouble will thats be? Is there another motor that will fit without crazy mods? Does the F2 bolt to my 5 speed trans, and will it just drop in being the same size as my 2.2l carb motor now. If you guys have any thoughts for me let me know. My truck is a good project , but I don't want to keep dropping money into the motor if my ass will end up replacing it in three months. Thanks

the fuel injected f2 bolts right in, to your tranny, but you will need the wire harness and computer to run it. the f2t is the same deal except a few more small mods to rig up. also an fe3 (do a quick search you will find lots of info) is fairly straightforward with only 1 major mod i hear. if you are comfortable doing an engine swap then these are pretty easy

Thanks man, I will look into those. I would really like to get the F2 turbo but its like twice the price. I seem to get a F2 for like 500 and the turbo version is about 900. We will see, all I know is im tired of fixing my motor and something else going wrong.
