I'm trying to get my truck done for low rollers next week and i just got done putting the motor back together...But i am apparently not getting fuel to the plugs for them to fire... it cranks and sounds stong and am getting fuel to the carb just fine just not to the plugs.... If you have any suggestions shoot them my way...

Thank's

Year and size of engine would be great?

How do you know you are getting fuel to your carb?

While cranking try squirting some gas down your carb, if it fires it is fuel. If your inlet needle/float is stuck you could have fuel to the carb but not be getting it into the carb. If you take the linkage off and move it quickly by hand do you see fuel squirt in the carburetor? If the carb is working there is virtually no way, besides your intake valves being closed for it not to get the fuel to the cylinders.

Sorry yeah it's a 1990 b2200 2.2.. the carb reaks of fuel.

Then it could be getting to much fuel and fouling the spark plugs. Can you see any fuel leaking in the carb? It could be your inlet needle/float is stuck open and then after it fills the bowl up it just leaks into the engine. Pull the spark plugs and see what they look like. See if they are wet with fuel.

See thats what i thought too but they are completly dry.. i figured they would be soaked but there's nothing.

I would try squirting some fuel down the carb while someone cranks it. Or you can pour a little fuel down the carb and then crank it and see if it fires then.

try sprayin some starting fluid in the carb see if it starts that way.. I AM Thinkin the sprayers (for lack of the actual term) maybe clogged.

damn- where you from - bout time we get some mazda b-sceners from the tri-state area. IF You don't get it to work - i know a guy who may be able to get it running and he works cheap.- but' you'd have to take it to him in oxford pa .
