question on swapping.

My buddies dads junk yard has a boosted 626 in it and my truck isn't running.
Is this the F2t?? Kind of a n00b here haha. I've done swaps on other cars

Okay so I talked to my buddies dad and he said it was a 626 motor that was put in a probe but its
N/A now since the guy had crashed it. The motor is in perfectly fine condition so I've been told but
I'm just making sure before I jump into it that it bolts up to my tranny and will be fine
Running the carb on it untill I can pay for a fuel pump for my fuel cell.

the motor with bolt up to the transmission, but... is the distributor will hit the firewall, and theres the wiring and ecu, which most likely have to be all swapped out, and depending on the year of your truck you'll be doing work for the wiring for the fuel pump

It can and has been done. Look in the Engine swaps section, I'm sure someone's is in there. To retain EFI you'll have to flip the intake manifold around...which means you need a custom adapter made.

So this engine isn't turbo or is? (N/A = naturally aspirated) I'd love the turbo, exhaust mani, and injectors
