Sooo, my air tube from my airbox to my throttle body tore last week. Finnaly. So I went out and got a vector silly straw style tube. And a very large K&N cone. IDK if you guys remember me but I rebuilt my b22 with a b20 motor, bored it out to a 2.6L chipped it, running a better cooling system. etc. etc. anyways, my issue is. Taking off from first gear I bog down like a VW bus running on two cylinders. check engine light comes on, and it feels like it finnaly catches and then it takes off and runs fine until about ( I actually figured this out tonight coming home from my gals house cause my truck was really pissing me off ) 95mph. For the longest time I thought It was the belts doing this to me, because the motor pulls so much torque now that it pulls the alternator down the bracket if i gun it too hard, but I fixed that, and that being out of the way I really have no more ideas. I've talked to a few mazdabtruckers down here by me and none of them really know whats up due to the fact my b22 is the fuel injected automatic transmission mess. Was hoping you guys could help me out on this, I really might get rid of this truck soon if I cant figure this out. Theres nothing better than burning mustangs on the southside of san antonio, but only when your truck is running right. We all know this

So this is actually the least of my worrys again... Anyone who knows the southside of San Antonio will appreciate this..Was pulling a gt500 (daddys money imo) down 410, hit the 281 south cloverleaf dropped down to around 100 to let him catch up and pass me and see how fast I could catch back up, when I punched it again, I snapped ALL of my belts off my motor. Luckily I live right off of military right there so I pussy footed home. Once again my showing off my little beast has me spending money again.

But also I am looking for a good replacement trans/rear end for the truck. I doubt highly my trans is going to last much longer with the way I've been driving back and forth from work everyday, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I was honestly going to just throw a ford 9inch on it and I have no idea what to do for the tranny. Suggestions please.

take your trans out, swap with one from a b2600i, just swap the bell housings, and for the rear end, do the rx-7 lsd swap. the b2600i trans are made to withstand moar power, and the rx-7 rear diff internals will give you limited slip. good upgrade if you ask me... you will need an rx-7 23 tooth clutch disc, or a b2600i clutch disc to make it all work tho...
