im new to the site and im not sure if im the right section but im pretty sure someone can point me in the right direction. I have a 87 b2200 with a 93 2.2 engine, i need to replace the power brake booster and am wondering what other vehicles will interchange with it, also im in looking for rims and would like to know what size i can put on my truck without making any modifications and will not rub. any input will be greatly appreciated.

ok to start with are you going to lower it? bag it?leave it stock? little more info will help us help you... as for the booster anyone of the boosters from these trucks can go on any of these trucks they all interchange,...my truck is bagged, and my tires rubed the booster all the time when layed so i wanted to find a booster that didnt rub i looked all over and found out that the booster for a mazda b1800/ford courier has a booster that is a lot smaller and will bolt right in so if thats what you doing there you go,...... now if you are going to lower it then that makes the rim fitment very, i had my truck lowered befor baggs and rubed on 15s with 50s.. so its all in what you want

The one I use and is the best small and works is out of a 94 geo metro. I can lay out on 20"s no problem

kinda on but off topic: how do you know when your brake booster is going for a my daily driver, when cold (my choke is disabled right now too-being fixed sunday!), engine running, rolling and then trying to stop and it'll be trying to stall (due to the choke), my brakes wont work too well, and the pedal is very stiff. i would say rpms are near 400-500 (...not 4000-5000). my front brakes are not up to snuff either, under all conditions.
