hey guys, i will be getting a mazda b2200 now, not the 94 b3000. im pretty happy, much better older. well its got a buick 232 in it now, also a 250 hydra matic trans. it was origionally a mannual truck, so the current owner said it is geared wrong. too low he said. so, what gears are in these factory manual trucks? and what should i aim for. i know they had a few different ones, but with the v6, and the 250 trans, what would be a good ratio diff? i would rather have it peppy in the street. dont do any high way driving really. this motor is almost new. about 500 miles on the motor, he has had it in there for a rew years, but only drove it a few time cuz the low geared rear end. so now from sitting he said the carb might need a rebuild, and a fuel pump. but i think it will be fine. planning on putting a little cam and a 4 barrel on it. i found a good kit from jegs im guna give a try at. well thanks in advance for the help guys tell me what you think

just a daily driver, static dropped a few inches, stock dodge ram 50 chrome rims and clean her up. i am a professional detailer, so i will just take her to work giver a bath, a good buff, coat of wax, shampoo, swap steering wheeles to an old school grant, loose the topper, paint the front bumper black again from fading, steam the motor loose the ssde graphics, probable re paint the hoodjjust do what ever it takes to get this thing to looks half ways presentable. and drive it. not too low thow heres the stock 50 wheels i got, have a total of 9 of them and there all perfectly polished!

hey guys. so he told me it ran 3 years ago, and he stopped driving it cuz this was just a project. and he finished it, and by that time he didnt enjoy it any more. 3 years of work. he said it has been sitting finished since 06 or 07. and has driven it once since then. last fall. across the yard. so i trailored it home and tried starting it. fail. had a friend feed it fuel right through the carb, and it ran. ok so something must be wrong with the floats or something. its all dirty and jets are plugged. cleaned it all up, runs greeat after that and plugs so happy now. get it off the trailor after that, start it, put it in gear. fail. once it went into gear, it was like something locked up and stopped the motor from spining. so i suspect something is wrong with trans. and i notice a little switch that has wires leading to the trans. so i flipped the switch to on, and it does the same. well i added trans fluid, and it drove. but i had to turn the idle WAY up, cuz it bogs way down when i put it in any gear. well, i was looking at it some more today, and there is a vacume line i suppose is coming from the trans, going to the intake, i disconnect it, and plug the intake, and it doesnt do it as bad at all anymore, but still bogs too far. do i have some kind of vacume problem? i also notice when i put it in gear, the brakes get really really stiff. i dont kn ow what is wrong but i have a feeling it is somnething with this tranny. any suggestions on what to look for?
