Hi, I'm doing a rebuild of my engine and its been going good till i got to the point of taking off the oil pump.
i have already unbolted all six bolts but i still having problem taking off the Crankshaft sprocket. Just to make sure it dose unscrew right? the sprocket.

crankshaft sprocket or oil pump sprocket?

take off the crank pulley (the 6x 10mm bolts) then take a 21mm breaker bar and take off that big bolt. Either an impact wrench or bumping the starter are good tricks. Another way is is to put the trans in 5th gear and apply the parking break, then use a cheater bar on that bolt. once that bolt is off you just have to wiggle that bits off
