RPM

I have a '92 Mazda B2200 2.2 4cyl. 5spd. I was wondering do these trucks run high rpm? I was watching the speed and the rpm gauge. At 60 mph the tach is on around 2800, is that what everyone elses run? Thanks, Jeff.

^^ Yup all 4 mazdas I have owned have ran like that. in my current daily driver I did the rx7 transmission swap to drop the rpms and get better fuel mileage. Heres the rpm range my truck drives now.
