datsun guys/forum??

I am trying to find some help on a buddies truck, but cant find a good datsun forum. Hes got a 1980 720 truck with an L20 and an auto. After he put the weber conversion on, it starts, idles and revs perfect!! no dieseling on shut down......everything looks to be in order. Once he puts it in drive it dies instantly. If he holds about 2500 rpms, he can keep it goin in drive. Any ideas?? Anything helps!! thanks

thats what we had originally thought, but couldnt find one.......however we did get some insight that fixed it!!!! there is a anti dieseling valve on the side of the weber that is supposed to have 12v at all times. due to taking out the charcoal canister, the loop for the 12v was disconnected. Hooked up 12 volts to it.........perfection!! thanks for the insight!
