I had started posting this topic on "another" board (one that let me have my avatar photo of choice). As I stated before, not only do the "view first unread thread" arrows not work, I didn't know what category this would fit in, so I chose this one.

Anyway, I had posted photos of my old inlet sock (which was lying at the bottom of my tank) which was too big to grab the inlet pipe and had a useless plastic hook (left), and the new one which grabbed the inlet tightly (right). No rust on the old one.

Anyway, here's two photos of the rust-free tank inide surface, thanks to the inspection camera my daughter bought for me at Costco. First looks like a drain plug on tank bottom.

Do you remember who removed your avatar? I see you joined in 07. What was the avatar of?

No one has told me about the arrows not working, which arrows do you mean? It should be an easy fix.

Damn that tank is clean. You should have seen my Supra's tank... Put a new pump in without cleaning it and the filter sock clogged within the first 15 seconds of running the pump! There was so much sediment in there, I could not believe it, and it is a California car too.

Can you post a screen shot of the arrow you use? It all works for me.

For the avatar feel free to use which ever you want, we were probably to strict during 08-09.

OK, but that will take a while, I'm a computer idiot. Mrs. Cusser has to show me what to do.
