ok lately the clutch pedal only easing into 1st or easing into rev is when it's most noticable, the pedal wants to stay down completely, i've replaced the slave and clutch master not long ago and got all the air out but it's just now that this problem has showed if i push the clutch in all the way with it off it will stay down also....any ideas as to where to look at? the rubber lines look ok i mean they're not severly cracked or anything, idk

When my pedal stayed down (in 2002), I replaced both my clutch master and slave cylinders, that fixed it. Mine were under lifetime warranty, easier just to replace both and bleed the system once.

I do believe a Mazda mechanic told me it was more likely the clutch master when this happened.

I know you you stated that you replaced both not too long ago, but I still suspect clutch hydraulics.

sorry i forgot to mention that after i get going it's fine until i have to once again ease into and out of 1st/ and or rev when it stays but i can grab it with my foot and it'll come back up and it will 'spring back' normally

Same as mine did. When you tie a thick string onto the pedal so you can pull it up, you know you've delayed too long....it's NOT going to heal itself...

You indicated you bleed the system. In short did you bench bleed the clutch master before you installed it?If not this can cause the issue,or it is likely you have a defective clutch master.Unless your slave hoses there are 2 one upper and one lower are collasped internally. My take
