84 b2000 head

I have a water leak at the rear of my head coming from a metal plate with 4 10mm bolts attaching it does anyone know what tjis is and what type of gasket is supposed to be used. any help would be greatly appreciated

If you post a pic we could tell. I think I know what your talking about but not 100% sure.
